The awards have been conceived and hosted jointly by Autocar India, the country's leading automobile magazine and BloombergUTV, India's fastest growing business news service.

The Autocar Awards conceived in 2002 and have grown to become the Oscars of the automotive industry in India. Every year this event honors and recognizes the best in the automotive industry and celebrates its achievements. Our awards categories cover the entire gamut of the auto industry, and are a comprehensive representation of all areas of excellence. The 2012 awards ceremony, in partnership with HDFC Bank, promises to be a spectacular culmination of a keenly contested auto battle. The best in league will be selected by an eminent jury on the basis of extensive & grueling track tests, a detailed methodology and process validation conducted by KPMG, our Knowledge Partner.
